Training courses that easily set new industry standards.
We know being the best means investing in our people. In partnership with local colleges (particularly Matthew Boulton and Sutton Coldfield Colleges) and national training bodies, our five in-house training facilities are pioneering new courses that will break new ground in setting a national standard for our industry.
Our dedicated Training and Development department is leading the way in offering accredited qualifications including City and Guilds of London Institute, the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and NVQs levels 1 to 4 – as well as vocational qualifications such as our Award in FirstLine Management and Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT).
Uniquely in our industry, our thorough training means each installation engineer undergoes a 4-week induction programme to develop customer service and technical skills to NVQ Level 2 in Electrical and Electronic Servicing. They’re then assessed to NVQ standards in either Signal Reception or Consumer Electronics according to their role. All team managers also undergo our 12-month Management Apprenticeship Programme, achieving NVQ Level 3 and ILM Level 3 in Management and Leadership.
